Everyday Miracles: The Secret To Living A Magical Life

POSTED BY Elena Bensonoff ON December 29, 2015

The sad truth is that most of us are too preoccupied with the stresses and strains of everyday life to wonder how we might inject more magic into our days.

But what if magic wasn’t just the stuff of fairy tales? What if it didn’t have to feel fantastic or out of reach? And what if it could feel wildly fulfilling and deeply nourishing?

It’s my belief that real magic is what happens when we’re walking our soul’s path, and when we’re connected —trulyconnected — to the essence of who we are. That’s when our life is fuller, brighter, and more joyful.

But what if we want to experience that sort of magic every day? How do we connect to our truest self on a regular basis, or at all? And how do we begin to explore what our highest calling might be?

Here is a list of 8 things to consider:

1. Face your fears.

As a child, I knew I wanted to heal people. Healing was part of my vocabulary, even as a four year old. I thought I would go on to create some kind of magical potion that would instantly eliminate somebody’s problems. But after training to become a pharmacist years later, I discovered the reality: I wasn’t healing people at all. I was only helping them to masktheir symptoms — not heal the root cause of their distress.

My decision to listen to my soul and become a holistic health practitioner and intuitive healer instead came as a surprise to some, but made perfect sense to me. I left my traditional career path in pharmacology behind and began to use a blend of energy healing work, essential oils and salts to ease my patients’ chronic pain, anxiety and suffering. And I’ve never looked back.

As adults, we’re preprogrammed with certain beliefs that define who we think we should be. But when we face up to our fears and face down other people’s expectations of us, we get to tell a different story about ourselves — and that’s nothing short of miraculous.

2. Ask for help.

I once worked with a physician who had a huge medical practice, but she was sick; really sick. For the first time in her life, she was being forced to reevaluate all of her beliefs and everything she’d ever done from a medical perspective and say, “Okay, this isn’t enough. I need something more.” She recognized she needed help, she acknowledged it, and she did something about it.

The problem is, MOST successful people never ask for help. But allowing someone to take care of you when you need it most is one of the most enriching things you can do in this lifetime.

3. Say “goodbye” to negative emotions.

Dealing with negative emotions is imperative if you want to enjoy a more joyfilled life.

Unique blends of essential oils and crystal infusions are particularly effective at soothing away pain and anxiety and depression. In the right combination, they offer a doorway for negative emotions to leave faster.

A Chakra Clearing session can also help clear your mind, leaving you feeling more in tune with your feelings. And proactively reprogramming your limiting subconscious beliefs can empower you with the tools you need to reach your fullest potential, more quickly. PSYCHK® uses simple yet effective techniques and exercises to program a new, positive set of beliefs into your subconscious mind in little to no time.

5. Let go.

The practice of letting go can be of tremendous relief — particularly when you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Past life Regression therapy can help you release old patterns, shine a light on any hidden talents, and enable you to align yourself more fully with your life’s purpose.

Meanwhile, Energetic Feng Shui is a great next step for people who are already on their path, but want to shift their work or home environment because it’s no longer supporting them. By energetically clearing the space around you, you lighten your load and let go of any unnecessary responsibilities that might be weighing you down.

6. Live more from your heart — and less from your head.

When you shift away from judging yourself from your headspace and begin to tune into your heart-space and how you feel instead, you open yourself up to reconnect with who you really are.

HeartMath Intervention refocuses your energy and attention on your heart in order to bridge the chasm between your mind and body, diffuse negative emotions, and regulate your physiologic and emotional response to stress.

7. Be present.

Many of us are so anxious about what’s going to happen, or what happened in the past, that we can’t relax in the here and now. If you want to know what it is to experience true joy, you must take time to become still every day.

Most  people  meditate  to  escape  the  now .  But  this  isn’t  about  escape .

Guided meditationshelp bring you back to the present.

8. Slow down and listen.

Once we get closer to discovering who we really are, the Universe lends a hand by sending us messages, guidance, signs, and symbols. The more you pay attention to those messages, the more aligned with your true self you become. You might notice recurring numbers; you might run into someone you haven’t seen in a few years. Whatever it is, slow down enough to notice.

The Universe supports us. It’s our partner at work. So look for everyday miracles.

Most people remain shrouded behind the layers of who other people think they are. They try to be somebody else. That’s why connecting to who you are — your essence — is a miracle.

That’s the magic of healing. It’s clearing the way for you invite more joy and love and light into your life. It’s making your eyes light up again.

That’s the magic, right there.
