The merkaba is a sacred geometric symbol that represents the human energy field. The word "merkaba" comes from the Egyptian words "Mer" (light), "Ka" (spirit), and "Ba" (body). The merkaba is a divine vehicle for transporting your light body, or spirit, to higher realms.

Activating the merkaba can be a powerful tool for personal and spiritual growth. It can help you:

The merkaba is composed of two intersecting tetrahedrons (the first Platonic solid). One points up like a pyramid, channeling energy from the heavens, and the other points down channeling energy from the Earth. It is a sacred union of opposite energies: masculine and feminine. The bottom tetrahedron represents divine feminine or yin energy. It rotates in a counter-clockwise direction, and the top relates to divine masculine or yang energy and rotates in a clockwise direction.

Merkaba

The merkaba rotates smoothly and continuously when the energy of each side is equal. However, if one side becomes more active and powerful than the other, the rotation slows down and energy blockages begin to form. Eventually, both sides must be cleared of debris and returned to balance.

There are many different ways to activate and clear the merkaba. One common method is to meditate and visualize the merkaba spinning, which is what we do together during this mediation. We are going to take it to another level by inviting the element of fire into our meditation.
