The Power of Breathwork

Aligning Body, Mind, and Soul with Elena Bensonoff


Hello and welcome. I am so honored to have you with me today. My name is Elena Bensonoff – Quantum Medicine Practitioner, clinical pharmacist, and Health Expert. Today I wanted to introduce you to the amazing power of breathwork. I will explain why breathwork is essential to your wellness and show you how easy it is to incorporate into your daily routine.

My background is in traditional medicine. I worked as a pharmacist and came to realize how overmedicated people are, and the root cause of their illness was often left a mystery because the pills masked all their symptoms – and true healing could not happen. I left that field behind for the path of Quantum Medicine, because I learned that we are all energy beings - everything around us is energy – all is connected by vibrational frequencies, all connected to one another on a soul-level through the collective consciousness.



Our body, mind, and soul are interconnected systems and we can truly become active participants in this powerful energy connection with our breath.

Breathwork is one of the easiest, yet most impactful practices you can commit to at this time. Not only is it an excellent way to release stress and detoxify your body, it’s a powerful way to activate different areas of your brain that haven’t been getting enough oxygen. You will gain clarity of mind. You will feel centered and experience a sense of connectedness. This influx of oxygen will reach every cell of your body.

Breathwork helps to boost your immune system and help create an alkaline environment in your body. You will feel immediately energized. Think of it as an internal decluttering of the stresses of life.

Our bodies automatic response to stress includes muscle tension and rapid breath. Incorporating a daily mindfulness and meditation practice is a great way to relax and reduce stress. Breathwork techniques are especially helpful in clearing the airways and helping to open the lungs.

Incorporating breathwork into your daily practice does not have to be complicated. I personally start every single morning with breathwork. It only takes a minute or two, and can be part of any meditation practice that you already love.



I’m going to invite you to join me now for some guided breathwork.

I think you will be surprised by how simple it can be.

Close your eyes and feel yourself already entering a more harmonious state by creating this moment for self-care. Perhaps this is the first time you’ve had a moment to connect with your body all day. We are so busy that we forget how to breathe, we hold onto low-vibrational frequencies, and become disconnected from the body. We are going to learn how to reconnect to the body and achieve a high vibration with intentional breath work.

Let’s take three heart-centered breaths together – and I want you to notice how your body feels. As you breathe deeply and expand the abdomen, I want you to imagine your inhales flowing through your heart center as a beautiful white light of peace, refreshing your body with oxygen. Exhale, imagining the light and breath exiting the heart.

Receive peace into your heart with each inhale, and with every exhale – release any fear you’ve been holding on to in your body. Very good.

Keeping your eyes closed, I want you to scan your body now and notice: where in your body do you still feel discomfort? Now we will bring in more white light and peace to that particular area. Illuminate the area with heart-focused intention and feel the discomfort melt away.

See? All you need to do is create a few moments of silence each day to reconnect with the body, listen to what it has to say, and bring peace into your entire being. Do this breathing practice every day for a week and note the differences you notice in your body, mind, and spirit.
